Should foundations be inspected before delivery?
Establish needed inspections and approvals with the responsible contractor or building control contact before ordering the pour.
How is trench volume calculated?
Excavation irregularities can change the needed quantity. Measure the actual length, width and designed concrete depth for each section.
Can a mixer discharge straight into the trenches?
A pump may be needed for trenches beyond direct access. Only where safe vehicle standing and chute reach permit.
What should be covered at handover?
Check delivery details, quantity and agreed supply records.
